Animate any chart

Every day, charts are published as static images — in reports, on social media, in slide decks — with the data locked inside the pixels. Furlen Animate opens them back up: upload a screenshot, and the values printed in it are read, shown to you for review, and recreated as an animated video that keeps the original's look.

How does it work?
Three steps. Upload a chart screenshot; Furlen's vision model transcribes the printed values, labels, title, and source, and samples the actual colours from your image. You then see everything it extracted next to your original — edit anything, and click through each value the extractor flagged as uncertain. Confirm, and the chart opens in the Charts studio as an editable animation, ready to export as MP4 in 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, or 4:5.
Why review before animating?
Because a chart that gets numbers wrong is worse than no chart. Furlen's rule across every product is that no number reaches an export without a human or a computation standing behind it. Here that means the extraction is a claim until you confirm it: flagged values stay amber until you look at them, and the animate button stays locked until none remain. Values that had to be measured rather than read are labelled as estimates — always.
What makes this different from redrawing the chart myself?
Speed without the usual cost. Retyping a 20-bar chart into a spreadsheet takes ten minutes and invites typos; tools that "AI-generate" charts invent numbers. Animate does neither: transcription plus your review gives you the original data as an editable table in seconds, wearing the original's colours and order — and from there it behaves like any Furlen chart, with every export watermark-honest about what is measured and what is estimated.
Frequently asked questions
Can I animate a chart from a screenshot?
Yes. Upload a PNG, JPG, or WebP screenshot of a static chart to Furlen Animate. Furlen reads the values printed in it, shows you everything it extracted for review, and then recreates the chart as an animated video you can export.
How does Furlen read the values in my chart?
An AI vision model transcribes the numbers that are literally printed in the image — data labels, axis annotations, legend percentages. Furlen treats the model as a transcriber, not an estimator: values it was unsure about are flagged for your review, and nothing proceeds until you have looked at every flagged value.
What if a value is not printed on the chart?
A value that has to be measured from bar lengths or line positions is an estimate, and Furlen always labels it as one. Estimated values are never presented as verified, and no verified badge exists anywhere in Furlen Animate.
Which chart types does Animate support?
Bar and column charts, pie and donut charts, line and area charts, and scatter plots — charts with printed values work best. Images with no chart, more than one chart, or unreadable values are declined with a plain-English reason rather than guessed at.
Will the animated chart look like my original?
That is the goal: colours are sampled from your image itself (not approximated), category order is preserved, and the title and source line carry over. You can restyle anything afterwards in the Charts studio, and export as MP4 video in 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, or 4:5.
What happens to my uploaded image?
Before storage, all embedded metadata (EXIF — location, timestamps, device details) is stripped. The image lives in a private bucket, is sent to our AI provider only to read the chart, is never used to train models under our terms, and is deleted the moment you confirm or discard the extraction — within 24 hours no matter what.
