Privacy policy

Account details. Your email address when you sign up, so you can log in and we can reach you about your account.

Your data files. The CSV and Excel files you upload, and the stories and videos made from them. This is the core of the product — we store them so you can edit and export your work.

Usage events. Anonymous-by-default product events (like “story created” or “export finished”) via PostHog, so we can see what works and fix what doesn't. We don't sell this data or use it for advertising.

Ad conversion signals. If you arrive from one of our ads, the ad platform's click ID appears in the page URL. When you then sign up or purchase, we send that platform (currently Meta) a server-side signal that a conversion happened — the click ID, your IP address, and browser user-agent — so we can measure whether ads work. We never send your email, name, or anything from your data files, and no ad-platform script or cookie runs on this site.

Errors. If something breaks, technical error details go to Sentry so we can fix it.

Your card number, bank details, or payment credentials. Payments are handled entirely by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record — they process the charge, handle taxes, and share only your subscription status with us.

When you generate a story, a summary of your data (column names, statistics, and detected insights — not your full raw file) is sent to Anthropic to write the story text. If you upload a chart image to Furlen Animate, that image is sent — with all embedded metadata (EXIF) stripped first — to Anthropic solely to read the chart's values and design; it is deleted from our storage when you confirm or discard the extraction, and within 24 hours regardless. If you enable voiceover, only the narration script text is sent to ElevenLabs to generate audio. These providers process the data to serve your request; we don't permit them to use it to train their models under our API terms.

Files, stories, and account data are stored with Supabase (our database and storage provider). The website runs on Vercel and video rendering runs on Railway. All connections are encrypted (HTTPS), and access to your workspace is restricted to you and people you invite.

Delete a project and its data goes with it. Want everything gone — account included? Email us and we'll erase it within 30 days. Signed export download links expire automatically.

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

You can ask us at any time to see, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you. Email privacy@furlen.pro and we'll respond within 30 days. If we ever make a material change to this policy, we'll note it here with a new date.
